Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar – Local Sightseeing
Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Amritsar. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up. Later, proceed to visit the iconic Golden Temple, followed by a visit to Jallianwala Bagh – a historic site of India’s freedom struggle. In the evening, witness the patriotic Wagah Border Ceremony, a must-see event near the India-Pakistan border. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 2: Amritsar to Jammu (Approx. 5–6 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your scenic drive to Jammu, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir. En route, enjoy the changing landscapes and lush greenery. Upon arrival in Jammu, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the famous Raghunath Temple and enjoy some leisure time at the local market. Overnight stay in Jammu.
Day 3: Jammu to Srinagar via Patnitop (Approx. 8–9 hrs)
Post breakfast, embark on a long yet beautiful drive to Srinagar. On the way, take a halt at Patnitop, a serene hilltop known for its breathtaking views and pine-covered slopes. Spend some time exploring the area, then continue your journey towards Srinagar. Arrive in Srinagar by evening and check into your hotel or houseboat. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
Start your day with a hearty breakfast and get ready to explore the heart of Kashmir – Srinagar. Visit the beautiful Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Also, explore the sacred Shankaracharya Temple that offers panoramic views of the valley. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake, one of the highlights of Kashmir. Return to your accommodation for an overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5: Day Trip to Gulmarg (Approx. 2 hrs one way)
After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Gulmarg, famously known as the “Meadow of Flowers.” On arrival, you can enjoy activities like the Gondola cable car ride, pony rides, and admire the snow-capped peaks. During winters, Gulmarg becomes a paradise for skiing lovers. Spend your day exploring this mesmerizing destination, and by evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Day Trip to Pahalgam (Approx. 2.5–3 hrs one way)
Today after breakfast, head out for an excursion to Pahalgam, a picturesque valley known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit the Saffron fields of Pampore and Awantipura Ruins. In Pahalgam, you can explore Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, or go for a pony ride to Baisaran (activities at your own cost). Return to Srinagar in the evening and enjoy another restful night.
Day 7: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat. Depending on your departure schedule, you will be dropped off at Srinagar Airport for your return journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of the Kashmir Valley and its breathtaking beauty.
